Bronwen & Jason {Hitched in Haliburton} – Cottage Country – Haliburton, ON

What a wonderful day for a recent Fall wedding at the beautiful Sir Sam’s Inn in Haliburton, ON.  In spite of some chilly and rainy weather, a great time was had by all.   Bronwen & Jason had booked us earlier this year and I knew that as soon as I had chatted briefly with her on the telephone, that they were the clients for us.  They are an ecclectic couple who had some phenomenal ideas of how they wanted their wedding to be, how their guests would remember their day and all of the little details were thoroughly gone over with us and their other vendors.    Initially all of our consultations were done by telephone as we were in Florida during the winter months but we made arrangements to meet in person a few weeks before the wedding.  And where better to meet in Haliburton — the Kozy Korner — for coffee.  As soon as we sat down to chat, I knew that we were the right fit for their “BIG” day.

The day started off a bit chilly so changes about the location had to be made on the fly — instead of an outdoor ceremony on the lawn — it was held on the veranda which Janice from Sir Sam’s had set up to accommodate all of the guests in comfort.  It was a beautiful ceremony with lots of surprises.

Here are just a few of my favs from the day (and just after the ceremony, the sun came out and turned everything into gold for this beautiful couple in love.

We absolutely loved working with Bronwen & Jason.  It was such fun to be a part of their day.  The catering provided by Sir Sam’s chef and staff was beyond anything that I could have imagined.  The dining room is designed for a smaller, more intimate wedding and it certainly lived up to it’s style.  The DJ team, My Wedding DJ, were loads of fun and kept the party moving.  There are so many more beautiful photos that I can’t wait for Bronwen & Jason to see all of their proofs.

Congratulations again on a beautiful wedding and a big thank you for choosing us to be a part of your day.
